After stints at Everton, Manchester United and Inter Milan, Romelu Lukaku looks to be returning to Chelsea this summer.
The Belgian’s links to the Blues began to really ramp up earlier this week:
Then on Saturday afternoon, David Ornstein broke the news that Chelsea had agreed a deal with Inter to bring Lukaku back to London:
Inter, meanwhile, already look to have found a replacement for their top-scorer from the 2020/21 campaign.
Fabrizio Romano reported on Sunday that the Italian outfit have agreed personal terms with former Manchester City star, Edin Dzeko:
Jorginho speaks out on Lukaku
And whilst Lukaku to Inter Milan has not been confirmed yet, one Chelsea star has already spoken out on the 28-year-old.
That man is Jorginho, who has had a sensational year for club and country winning both the Champions League and Euro 2020.
And when drawn on the possibility of Chelsea signing Lukaku in a recent interview, the midfielder had this to say:
“A player like Lukaku, who has been doing great, was a champion in Italy, for sure is a player who would contribute a lot.
“Anyone who comes to contribute would be worth it. Let’s see what happens next.”
