Chelsea midfield trio, Danny Drinkwater, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Ross Barkley have reportedly been informed by Chelsea that they are free to depart from the club for free this summer.
While the Blues are in the market for new signings before the end of August, the team’s main priority is facilitating exits for a wide array of squad and fringe players.
According to The Athletic, the likes of Bakayoko, Drinkwater and Barkley have all been told that they can openly communicate with other teams.
The Blues are prepared to hand a free transfer to big-earner Drinkwater, who spent the second half of the last season on loan at Turkish outfit Kasimpasa.
Barkley made a positive impression during a season-long spell with Premier League outfits, Aston Villa before injury curtailed all of the momentum that he had built during the early part of the season.
Having spent the last three years at Serie A giants, AC Milan, Napoli and AS Monaco respectively, Bakayoko is attracting interest from several teams of a similar size.
Recent reports from Italy claimed that AC Milan are keen on bringing back French midfielder to San Siro.
